I quite liked it. It was a bit tricky to put together and I had to use some scuplting putty to get it all to fit correctly, but all in all a nice model. I am happy to have a caestus and will put it too good use on my table. Thanks wartablegames!

It is not, strictly speaking, a good cast, having a decent few big bent pieces that are not easy to bend to shape with heat. I am still satisfied. It is a very handsome kit once built, despite the difficulties. Worth getting if you want a Caestus and don't mind the hammering it'll require before it goes together nicely.

At this time, I have decided to not build this model. The detailing, fit and gaping is just too much to put up with. Another issue is the resin is paper thin, and details have many flaws. Not worth the price or time to put together.

mixed bag on this one. i am happy i finally got myself a caestus and that might be the only reason its 3 stars. the mold theyre using to cast has obviously had its silicon damaged in alot of areas, one of the top air intakes had so much of the details filled in im not sure if its salvagable (i even got some chunks of silicon around the misses so the next person might have some mishaped missiles). in general the actual shape of things like the nacelles is also quite poor it will require alot of gap filling and hairdryer exposure to look normal again lol, also the left nacelles underside suffered from the same issue as the air intake. the wings were actually pretty good tad bit of slippage but nothing some sanding cant fix. overall its just getting everything to lineup thats hard and i think the reason for this is just a poor/needing replacement mold. the only real upside is that yeh you can get a caestus youll just need to do ALOT of work if you want it to look good.
